Haven of Hope
Housing Stabilization & Barrier Support
Haven of Hope is Allies Way’s housing-focused program for families experiencing housing instability, including families living in extended-stay motels, facing displacement, or navigating other unstable housing situations.
We understand that a housing crisis is rarely caused by just one problem. Families may be managing motel expenses, transportation challenges, employment barriers, limited income, documentation needs, food insecurity, or other circumstances that make it harder to move toward stable housing.
Haven of Hope helps families identify those barriers, connect with trusted community resources, and access limited stabilization assistance when funding is available.
Our goal is simple:
Help families move from crisis toward greater housing stability, one barrier at a time.
Depending on a family’s circumstances, program capacity, and available funding, support may include:
Short-term emergency motel assistance
Housing and community-resource navigation
Transportation assistance related to work, housing, or essential needs
Employment and workforce-resource referrals
Benefits and community-service referrals
Food and essential-needs connections
Limited assistance with housing-related barriers when funding allows
Connections to partner organizations that may provide additional support
Not every household will need the same type of assistance. Our team works to understand the family’s immediate situation and identify the most appropriate next steps.
Who We Serve
Haven of Hope primarily supports families and households experiencing housing instability, with particular attention to:
Families with children living in extended-stay motels
Families experiencing homelessness or temporary housing
Families facing displacement or an immediate housing crisis
Single parents and caregivers experiencing housing instability
Pregnant households
Veterans and other vulnerable households experiencing housing instability
Eligibility and available assistance may vary depending on the household’s circumstances, program capacity, service area, and available funding.
What Happens After You Apply?
Submitting an application allows Allies Way to better understand your household’s situation and immediate needs.
If your application appears to fit the Haven of Hope program, a member of our team may contact you to discuss:
Your current housing situation
Immediate needs or barriers
Steps you have already taken
Resources that may be available
Whether Allies Way can provide direct assistance or connect you with another organization
Some families may receive short-term stabilization assistance. Others may be connected to community partners or resources better suited to their needs.
Submitting an application does not guarantee financial assistance, motel placement, housing placement, or permanent housing.
Assistance Is Based on Available Resources
Allies Way is a growing nonprofit organization, and the demand for housing assistance is greater than the resources currently available.
For that reason, Haven of Hope assistance is based on:
Household circumstances and level of need
Program eligibility
Available funding
Available community resources
Program capacity
The type of assistance being requested
When Allies Way cannot provide direct financial assistance, we will make reasonable efforts to provide information or connections to other resources when appropriate.
Moving Toward Greater Stability
Haven of Hope is not designed to simply pay a bill and end the relationship.
As the program continues to grow, Allies Way is building a stronger barrier-removal and housing-stability model that will help participating families identify challenges, work through practical next steps, and connect with resources that support long-term stability.
Our future HavenReady platform will strengthen this work by giving participating families and Navigators a structured way to identify barriers, track progress, complete housing-stability pathways, and coordinate support.
Until that expanded model launches, Haven of Hope will continue providing housing-focused stabilization, barrier support, resource navigation, and limited direct assistance based on available capacity and funding.application does not guarantee assistance.
