Our programs

Two lanes. One goal.

Housing is the anchor. Food is how we show up, build trust, and meet families where they are. Every program points toward safe, stable housing.

We do not have a magic fix. We help families get steady, then work with them on the barriers that keep them out of housing.
Relief→Stabilization→Housing
Every program we run answers one question: does this help a family move closer to stable housing?
Housing StabilityThe core of our work
Haven of Hope

Stabilize. Find the barrier. Remove it.

For families living in extended-stay motels. When appropriate, we provide short-term stabilization. Then we work with the family to find what is blocking housing, like deposits, missing documents, or utility debt, and help clear it.

Powered by HavenReady. Our case management tool keeps each family's plan, goals, and next steps in one place.

Haven Scholars Launching

For students from families facing housing instability, from high school graduation through the first year of college. We cover the small, practical costs that can stop a student from enrolling or staying: transportation, documents, books, technology, and dorm or commuter needs.

Each student also has a trusted contact to call when something goes wrong. We work alongside school counselors and financial aid offices. We do not replace them.

Sunshine Summer Lunch

When school lunch stops, we keep going.

Free lunches for children during summer break, served where families live, including extended-stay motels. Each lunch is also a chance to check in with a family and connect them to housing support.

Summer 2026: more than 1,000 lunches in Cobb and Douglas counties.

Monthly Meal Mission

A hot meal every month. All year.

Our volunteers serve home-cooked meals at extended-stay motels and community sites, usually on the third Sunday of the month. It keeps us close to families so we know who needs help next.

2026: about 90 to 100 meals each month.

Community Garden

Grown here. Shared here.

Our community garden in Douglas County is open to volunteers, and kids are especially welcome. We give the harvest to families at Monthly Meal Mission or cook with it for the meal.

Hope on Wheels

Our kitchen is getting wheels. In progress

We bought a 10-foot food trailer. Once it is equipped and permitted, it will bring hot meals to motel parking lots and summer sites.
